Welcome to the MARK Centre

Embracing a lifestyle of listening to God

Who We Are

The MARK Centre is a ministry that aims to lead people to intimate places with God where his voice can be heard

Retreats & Events

We regularly offer different types of retreats and events for men and women to draw away to quiet spaces to hear from God.

The Chalet

Situated in a forest grove in the heart of Abbotsford, our Chalet is a great local place to plan your solo, couple, or group retreat.

Steve Klassen

Available to facilitate, train and speak on the topic of listening to God, Steve draws people to hear God’s voice.

His Eye is On the Sparrow

Our newest book “His Eye is On the Sparrow” highlights God’s intimate care through stories, beautiful bird-focused photography, and guided prayers.

What’s happening at the MARK Centre?

  • Sneak Away

    01.23 / 9:00am-12:00pm

Mark 1 records a story about Jesus sneaking away from a busy house in Capernaum to pray. It seems no one knew…

  • Wednesdays in the Psalms

    Every Wednesday / 7:00am-7:45am

Every Wednesday morning at 7am, we meet together online and spend some time in a Psalm…

  • "I have felt such a peace here which has allowed me to wind down, let all the cares of today roll off, and just listen to Jesus, be filled with the Spirit & be loved on by the Father."

    Chalet Guest

  • "To be away from the routines and distractions of ‘home’ with the intention to give the time to God fully is not something I’ve done before. I found it very fulfilling. The presence of God was very clear to me."

    Silent Retreat Participant

  • "After the retreat I feel that my soul has been refreshed. I was impacted by the community of brothers as we shared the words we received from Jesus and was encouraged by many who shared."

    Frisbee Golf Retreat Participant

  • "We sense God’s presence here whenever we stay. He speaks to us regarding whatever is going on in our lives when we arrive. Thank you for offering this retreat where He is always present and waiting for our hearts to reach out to Him.”
